Question:
Can I consolidate all my DNA matches from Ancestry, MyHeritage, FTDNA and LivingDNA in "Your DNA family"?
Answer:
The only way to combine the profiles from all those different DNA testing companies is via raw DNA data download and upload to a 3rd party website (like GEDMatch currently does). Although we have a prototype, the development is significantly delayed by the fact that many people are just spending less on hobbies like genealogy.
While existing 23andMe customers are permitted to upload data from other companies, new features are only being added in incremental steps, though our vision is to enable people to assign raw DNA data to people in their family tree and for the most recent common ancestors (MRCA's) to be automatically identified.
From 2021 onwards, we will offer you the opportunity to use your AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FTDNA, and LivingDNA DNA data. We will add new features in discrete stages, as we incorporate more DNA testing companies into the system.
